How Adaptive Assessments Work and What Can be Expected from Online Testing
On May 12, 2012, I presented to a group of California teachers and administrators at the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley. Attached are the slides I used in my presentation. I also showed in real-time how adaptive assessments work. I logged in simultaneously with two sample students into DOMA Pre-Algebra and ADAM K-7 and then proceeded to show how these assessments adjusted based on the students' diverging responses.
