How to clear AutoComplete in Internet Explorer and Firefox

The Let’s Go Learn student management system does not use cookies to store data however browsers will offer to AutoComplete logins/passwords for online forms. If you have multiple students using Let’s Go Learn, it is recommended that the AutoComplete feature is turned off so that the next student that logs in will not be using the previous acocunt. If AutoComplete is turned off and you are still experiencing problems with students not being logged off when another student uses the computer, close the browser and then reopen.

Below is a procedure on how to turn off AutoComplete for Internet Explorer and Firefox:

Turn off auto complete in Internet Explorer (see picture below)
- Click Tools in the upper right corner of Internet Explorer 7 and then select Internet Options
- Select the Content tab
- Click the Settings button next to AutoComplete.
- Uncheck "Forms" and "Prompt me to save passwords"
- Next be sure to clear the current saved form data

Turn off auto complete in Firefox (see picture below)
- Open the Firefox browser.
- From the Firefox menu, select ‘Tools’
- Select ‘Options’
- Click ‘Privacy’
- Click ‘Saved Forms’
- Click ‘Settings’
- Select all options in the ‘Clear Private Data’ window
- Click OK
- Click ‘Clear Saved Form Data Now’
- Uncheck ‘Save information I enter in forms and the Search Bar’
- Click OK
