What they have to say...

Sarah Smith Elementary, as a school, used DOMA during the 2011-2012 school year.  The school did not use it the next year, but I, as the Early Intervention Program teacher, felt that this test was exactly what I needed to pinpoint my students’ weaknesses so that I could effectively differentiate instruction for them.  I decided to use funds that I was given by the Sarah Smith Education Foundation to purchase the test for my students.  I was very pleased when DOMA became the ADAM K-7 test because I saw that it covered even more skills and was aligned to the Common Core.  After I gave my students the ADAM K-7 tests, I used the detailed reports daily to determine what my students' weaknesses were and to focus on those particular skills.  I gave the ADAM K-7 test at the beginning, middle, and end of the year.  I shared each updated report with my students and their teachers to show them their progress.  I also used the reports during SST (Student Support Team) meetings as required data.  In addition, the reports were very beneficial for my teacher evaluations as evidence of assessment and differentiation.  I cannot say enough great things about the ADAM K-7 assessment or the data the reports provide!
