Why doesn’t LGL provide formulas for geometry questions in DOMA Pre-Algebra?
We have chosen NOT to include formulas because some parts of the country require students to have memorized them for high stakes assessment, and some provide them. If we provide the formulas, than the parts of the country that still require memorization do not get an accurate assessment of student knowledge. Teachers may choose, however, to provide students with formulas if their district does not require students to memorize them.
