Richard Capone: CEO, Chairman of the Board and Cofounder

Experience: Prior to founding Let's Go Learn, Richard worked as Adobe Systems' business development manager in charge of national web developer accounts. Other experiences include sales channel development, product evangelism, print and pre-press production management, and prior company start-up.  In all of these past roles, Richard led successful implementations of new technologies that were rapidly changing their respective markets.  Richard's ability to jump in and successfully pioneer new technologies and products is at the heart of his successful track record.  In 2000, Richard decided to turn his energies towards yet another emerging market which was to develop innovative online technologies for the K-12 educational market.  Richard's motivation for founding the company was two-fold: his interest in his own children's reading skills and his concern for literacy worldwide. Education: BA in Economics, University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Richard McCallum: Chief Education Architect and Cofounder

Experience: Currently, Dr. McCallum is Academic Coordinator of the Advanced Reading and Language Leadership Program at U.C. Berkeley. He is also founder and director of CalReads. In addition, Dr. McCallum teaches reading and language arts program development and six ongoing graduate-level courses. He is the author of nineteen publications on reading and language topics and the leader of six sponsored literacy research projects. Presently, Dr. McCallum is a member of four professional advisory boards/committees dealing with reading and literacy. Education: Ph.D. in Education - Language & Literacy Division, Graduate School of Education, University of California at Berkeley; MA in Education - Dept. of Reading, School of Education, University of Florida; BA in English, University of Florida.

Dan Campi: Chief Revenue Officer

Experience: Dan has invested his entire professional career in the computer software industry.  Notably, Dan rose to Senior Director of North American Sales during his 7 plus years at Adobe Inc. after helping Adobe successfully merge with Aldus Corp.  He left Adobe to become VP of Business Development at Netbot, Inc., a start-up online shopping technology, where his strategic partnership efforts led to Netbot’s acquisition by Excite in 1997.  Dan left Excite to become President & CEO of web-based file sharing company Punch Networks from March 1998 until August 2001.  He then became VP of Business & Corporate Development at Captaris, Inc., where he led strategic partnering, OEM licensing, and merger and acquisition projects. In October 2007, Dan became Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Orrtax/IntelliTax Software Solutions in Bellevue, WA where he developed new sales policies and go-to-market strategies and successfully pursued new revenue streams; the company completed a successful sell-side transaction in October 2008, and he helped perform sell-side due diligence.  Dan has also been an informal background advisor for company co-founder Richard Capone since the inception of Let’s Go Learn. Education: BBA in Marketing, Pace University Lubin Business School in New York.

Dr. Stephen Moore: Evaluations Advisor

Experience: Dr. Moore was previously Chief Psychometrician in the Education and Measurement Group at eScore.com. Prior to this role, he was Program Manager for Assessment and Evaluation, Clinical Education Division American Academy of Ophthalmology, San Francisco. Dr. Moore has extensive university-level teaching experience. In 1984-1987, he received the U.C. Berkeley Distinguished Teacher Award. Additionally, he has published eight manuscripts/presentations. Education: Ph.D. and MA in Educational Psychology, University of California at Berkeley; MA in Sociology, Indiana University; BA in Sociology, Florida Atlanta University.
