K-5 Online Reading Instruction to Ship by August 31, 2002
KENSINGTON, Calif., (July 18, 2002) - Let's Go Learn announced today that it will link K-5 online supplemental reading instruction to its LGL Reading Assessment product. This instruction will be offered as an option to existing and future users of the LGL Reading Assessment. "It has always been the goal of Let's Go Learn to work toward individualized reading instruction. Of course, in order to achieve this, we first had to produce and refine our core assessment engine, which allows us to paint an individualized reading profile for each student. We are all very excited about the imminent launch of our linked instruction," comments Let's Go Learn's CEO, Richard Capone. The K-5 reading instruction will be completely web-based. Immediately after they complete an assessment, depending on how they perform, students will be transitioned into appropriate instructional activities. Let's Go Learn's Director of Education, Amy Pedigo, comments, "This is just the beginning. K-5 is the most critical area of reading instruction, but we have plans to expand our instruction even further." Let's Go Learn was founded by Dr. Richard McCallum and Richard Capone. The company was incorporated in October 2000 and launched its flagship product, the LGL Reading Assessment, in December 2001.
