In 2008, Let’s Go Learn signed a distribution agreement with Curriculum Associates to provide sales and marketing resale services for its award winning line of online assessment and instruction products in the United States and Canada. At the time, Curriculum Associates’ Founder and Let’s Go Learn’s Founders saw this partnership as a great opportunity. In 2010, Curriculum Associates came under new management and the long-term goals of the two companies were no longer in alignment. Thus, the current distribution agreement is going to be allowed to expire without renewal at the end of 2012. Currently, Curriculum Associates is a “non-exclusive” distributor of Let’s Go Learn’s assessment lines, DORA and DOMA. We encourage all existing and new customers to renew or purchase directly through Let’s Go Learn. This will ensure that the quality of service you receive will be made in consideration of your long-term needs.
In 2002, Let's Go Learn partnered with Learning Today to create a valid and reliable online reading program called Unique Reader. This integrated program combines the power of DORA with the interactive reading instruction of Learning Today. Designed for students at prekindergarten through Grade 5 reading levels, Unique Reader is adaptable for use in traditional or home school environments, with all instruction available via the Internet.
Unique Reader integrates the reading diagnosis and reporting of the DORA with the standards-based reading instruction of Learning Today. After testing, students are individually placed into reading instruction. Learning Today provides over 1000 online reading activities spanning four areas of reading: sight words, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension. Students proceed at their own paces with ongoing assessments that continually update their profiles and ensure an optimal learning path.
"Unique Reader is supporting the classroom teacher by finally offering a product that can help students on an individual basis. Because our reading assessment is central to Unique Reader, students won't be wasting time with lessons they have already mastered. Unique Reader is targeting exactly what students need. And, of course, the teacher has total control. He or she can log in and monitor students as well as adjust the students' levels across the four reading categories," comments Let's Go Learn's CEO, Richard Capone.
Learning Today, founded in 1999, has developed an innovative curriculum based on state standards, an indexing system of the lessons to the standards and benchmarks, and a simple but powerful lesson planner for teachers to aid in classroom management of Learning Today instruction. These lessons use a model that combines instruction, interactive reinforcement, and graded review.

In 2003, Let's Go Learn partnered with Harcourt Achieve to provide an online assessment program for its new reading series, Elements of Reading, which is being released under the Steck-Vaughn imprint. This series specializes in providing materials for below-grade-level learners in the areas of vocabulary and fluency, phonics/phonemic awareness, and comprehension. Let's Go Learn's companion piece, Online Assessment, provides prescriptive student profiles and individual student and class score reports, as well as reports for parents.
Specifically, the Elements of Reading: Online Assessment is a companion piece to the entire series; it allows teachers to use prescriptive student profiles to drive differentiated instruction. In addition, materials from the Elements of Reading series are recommended in the classroom and student reports of the Online Assessment, making data-driven instruction a reality at the classroom level. Let's Go Learn adapted its valid and reliable assessment engine to work with the specific instructional materials of Elements of Reading, which are directly correlated to No Child Left Behind requirements and authored by multiple experts in the reading field.
When asked about the purpose of the online assessment piece, Let's Go Learn's Chief Educational Architect Dr. Richard McCallum said, "Timely and appropriate diagnostic assessment takes the guesswork out of planning instruction and provides teachers and administrators with the data they need to drive and track real growth in students and keep parents informed."
Harcourt Achieve publishes under two primary imprints: Steck-Vaughn and Rigby. Its parent company is Harcourt General, a major publishing subsidiary of London-based Reed Elsevier Group PLC. Harcourt Achieve develops products for elementary, middle, and high school students and adult audiences in areas that include reading and language arts, mathematics, science, and test preparation.
