The Let’s Go Learn Diagnostic Online Readig Assessmentlsis designed by reading experts with the goal of providing a state-of-the-art diagnostic reading assessment to a wider audience. We recommend the following proctoring guidelines to ensure the most accurate results:
1. The assessment requires focused concentration from the test taker. Please provide an environment free of distraction. Headphones are recommended if more than one test is going on at the same time in close proximity.
2. The assessment is comprised of 7 subtests and takes about 30 to 60 minutes total. (Struggling emerging readers may take longer). Please make sure the test taker is well rested and energized. The assessment adapts to the test taker’s results so that more advanced readers quickly progress to more difficult levels within each subtest.
3. The assessment can be stopped at any time and will continue where it left off. Monitor the test taker; if he or she becomes tired, stop and continue later. Also you may want to limit the assessment session. For elementary aged students, we recommend a maximum of 45 minutes per sessions. You need to judge your students’ or children’s attention spans.

1) Go on the <Class> tab and then click on the <Add New Student> button.
Note: if evaluating our system, we recommend that you DO NOT ENTER your own DATE of BIRTH. It is easiest to enter one appropriate for an early elementary student, 1st-3rd grade. Or for a grade level that you wish to evaluate.
2) Fill out the student’s information into the form fields and then click the <Save> or <Save and Add Another> button.
3) Check that the web brower that the student will use has the Free Flash 5.0 or later browser plug-in installed. Check for Flash Now!
5) Click on the <Begin> link next to the student whose assessment you wish to start. Or allow the student to login from our home page (But you must have assigned a login and password to this student first when setting him or her up).
