Graphs not printing
Currently, no Macintosh OS9 or OSX will print any swf (Flash) graphics file. As hard as this is to believe, we assume it is some fundamental Machintosh operating system conflict with Flash. This means that the graphs rendered in class profiles or individual student results will print out blank. The work around is that on any Machintosh you can do a screen capture by simply hitting <Command or Open Apple>, <Shift>, and <4> simultaneously. This built-in Macintosh tool will turn your cursor into a cross-hair target allowing you to click and drag out a rectangle on your screen. This command saves a graphics file to your hard drive which you can copied and pasted into a word processing document easily.
This issue also exists on Windows with Firefox. Firefox does not support swf (flash) graphics printing. You can hit the "PrtSc" or "Print Screen" button on the top row of your keyboard to do a screen capture. Then if you paste into a Word document, you can right click on the image and select "show picture tool bar". Selecting the crop tool on the tool bar will allow you to crop out unwanted parts of your screen.
Internet Explorer on Windows prints swf (flash) files fine.
We unfortunately did not know of this limitation of printing when adopting our graphing software. We are currently working on moving to a new tool that will support a graphics format that will work on all platforms and browsers.
