Student Login Page is Empty

When my students log into Let’s Go Learn they are given a page that says, "Welcome Student’s Name".  But no buttons are available for them to begin their assessment or instruction.  Why is this happening?

This happens when the student in question does not have any activities in his or her queue.  Teachers/parents can add activities to a student’s queue by going to the <class> tab when they are logged into their master account.  On the <class> tab locate the student’s name.  To the right of the student’s name will be a link called <View Queue>.  Click this link.  Then located the activity you wish the student to perform and check the "Add/Queue" box.  Finally click on the <Change Queue> button to save changes.

Detailed Explaination:  When students are first added to a class all activities that the teacher or parent has access to are automatically queued up for the student.  When a student has completed an assessment, that assessment is no longer in the student’s queue.  This is because we don’t want students to log in again on their own and perform another assessment.  Thus after the first time, teachers must add the assessment to the student’s queue.  A couple of exceptions exist.  If a student was moved from another teacher’s account, his or her queue may be empty.  Also sometimes when a massage school or district data upload is performed by Let’s Go Learn’s support staff the queue in some cases may be empty.  Prior to testing in the lab, teachers should view all student’s queue quickly to be sure a "Ready" or "In Progress" is next to the activity in question. "In Progress" means the student is already in the process of taking a particular activity.  If this should not be the case, the teacher can first "terminate" that activity and then can "add/queue" it back up to start from the beginning.
