The Phonemic Awareness subtest is having audio problems
This issue affects the DORA phonemic awareness subtest. This is the one with the wiggling heads that provide audio choices for the test-taker to click on.
Because this subtest uses more streaming audio than other subtests, customers with low Internet bandwidth or congested Internet bandwidth may experience some halting of audio on playback. If this occurs, have the student hit the yellow "Repeat" button at the bottom of the screen. This will replay the audio. And on playback the audio will be cached in your web browser and should playback smoothly.
Prior to August 20, 2006, there was another outstanding issue where audio files would sometimes overlap during playback. This issue has been resolved in all DORA versions including the Harcourt Elements of Reading version.
