Let’s Go Learn Velocity Box

The Let’s Go Learn Velocity Box is a light-weight computer that plugs directly into a school or district network to alleviate poor user experiences caused by internet congestion during Let’s Go Learn testing or instruction use.  Once successfully installed, the Velocity Box will launch the login page to Let’s Go Learn.  While the Velocity Box is in use, all large audio, image or instruction files will be served directly from the box itself.  All assessments will still take place on the Let’s Go Learn web servers.  This will reduce the Internet requirement by up to 90% when schools are using Let’s Go Learn.  Schools or districts who test many students at once, or have small testing windows, are good candidates for using the Velocity Box.

How it works: Local media files are hosted within your network so they no longer need to travel over the internet (see below). Once installed the Velocity Box doesn’t require any IT support or maintenance.
