PreK-2 screening tool. More of a tool that a school psychologist or special ed teacher might use to determine reading readiness. Does look at letters and sounds. Doesn't examine student's reading abilities as comprehensively as the DORA though. "Comprehension" part of it doesn't measure reading comprehension, only student's ability to sequence. Does cover math. Advertised as a "quick" assessment which collaborates our opinion that it is a "screening" test not a "diagnostic" assessment. Remember screenings will indicate a problem where diagnostics tell you why there is a problem and what to do about it. Formerly called GEEL.
