Galileo provides an online assessment system and school management platform. The fundamental difference between Galileo and the LGL products is that Galileo assessments are benchmark in style, and while they can be aligned to state or local standards, or customized by local input, they are not diagnostic in nature. System allows for lesson planning and sharing by users, as well as some online materials, but does not appear to offer differentiated supplemental instruction. Galileo also offers other school management features like lesson plan books, grade books, and report cards.
