There is a lot of confusion with this product. Accelerated Reader is not a reading remediation product. Students read books and then answer questions about the stories they read. It provides practice for the students already independently reading. It will work in conjunction with Let's Go Learn products. If schools use DORA they can use the comprehension Lexile score that our reports produce to place students into reading levels. The test that Renaissance Learning uses to place students into their own levels is called STAR. It has a raw score that is roughly equal to Lexiles. See our write up on STAR.
