This product is a very well known instructional product. It follows a very linear instructional path. The assessment that is embedded in it is said to be "diagnostic" by the company but it primarily places students into a starting point. They say they are "differentiated" but due to the linear nauture of their instruction, it doesn't do this very well. If you had a homogenious class of students it could be good but in reality students very quickly diverge in skills in reading. Thus, many kids would waste time on materials that they already know. The word on the street is that the content is light as well. A companion product is Destination Math.
