1.2 Reassessing Students
Let’s Go Learn recommends allowing 10-12 weeks of instruction time to occur between testing periods. To reassess students, queue up a new assessment for each student or for an entire class (see below) and then administer assessments as per 1.0 ‘Getting Started with Assessments’.
Queueing up an Assessment for a Single Student
To make changes to an individual student's assessment queue, take the following steps:-
- On the <Class> tab, in the “Student Assessment Queue” column, select ‘”view queue” for the individual student.
- Make the required changes by putting a check in the box in the action column such as “Add Assessment to Queue” or “Remove Assessment from Queue.”
- Click on “Change Queue.”
Queueing up an Assessment for ALL Students
You will want to adjust the class queue when you want all students to take the desired assessment at the same time. In the class queue, you can terminate all partially completed assessments, add new assessments, or remove all queued up assessments that have not yet been started.
To view or change the queue for an entire class take the following steps:-
- On the <Class> tab, select “View Class Queue.”
- Select the grey button for the action you wish to perform, ie, “Activate Algebra 1” will queue up a new Algebra assessment for ALL students in your class.
