Demonstrated Gain Report
This cool new report allows users to look at gain data in a different manner. Often gains are masked in "average" calculations but demonstrated gains can reveal growth where it would be otherwise hidden.
Two options when running this report.
Option 1: Assessment only. Allows users to determined "demonstrated" gain on any pool of students. Could be to measure a specific intervention program. Returns percent of students or absolute number of students with no-gains, medium-gain, or high-gain. Then determines average level of gains for these groups.
Option 2: Assessment and Instruction. Allows users to map gain to use-level of Unique Reader or Unique Math. The user can set the threshold for use groups based on the number of activities completed by each student. This report allows users to see whether more use of Unique Reader or Unique Math is leading to more gains.
