What problem were you looking to solve when you found Let’s Go Learn?
Sandy Tutwiler: Hi, I’m Sandy Tutwiler and I own Tutor Doctor Frisco and McKinney. I was looking to try to figure out how I could really assess students when parents came and said my student is well ahead of their class. I just don’t know how far ahead or my child is pretty far behind and Covid has had a real impact, but I don’t know how far behind and I really don’t even know where to start. I was looking for a tool that could measure and help me communicate where those kids started, so that we could pinpoint where they were and what we needed to really focus on.
How has Let’s Go Learn’s product/service helped you solve this problem?
Sandy Tutwiler: I use the ADAM and DORA assessments for my students when I am looking to assess where they are in terms of their academic journey and they’re learning. So the detailed report tells me not only what they’ve mastered but what they need to work on. And it gives me tips that I can then communicate to my tutors on where they should start working with that student, what is absolutely most important, and where they should pick up. So I love this tool.
What Let’s Go Learn product did you purchase and why would you recommend this product?
Sandy Tutwiler: I purchased the ADAM and the DORA assessments, again because they are ADAM helps me with the math assessment. DORA helps me with the language arts assessments. And I would recommend these products because they are set to the standards of for me in Texas, it’s TEKS so it outlines really what the students should have learned at a specific grade level or what they’ve mastered or where they are missing.
