Celebrating 23 Years of Innovation: Let’s Go Learn’s Amazing Journey in Education
Kensington, CA, October 20, 2023- Let’s Go Learn, Inc. (LGL) is thrilled to mark its 23rd year in the game since it all began in 2000. It was kickstarted by Richard Capone and Dr. Richard McCallum, both from UC Berkeley, California. Their goal was simple: to understand the challenges students face in reading and provide teachers with valuable insights to improve student learning.
From its very beginning, Let’s Go Learn has been a pioneer in the education industry. Shortly after its start, the company secured a grant from the US Department of Education to evaluate its reading assessment product as a stand-alone assessment system. It was compared against one-on-one assessments provided by highly-trained specialists in the CalReads program. This groundbreaking study provided compelling statistical evidence that Let’s Go Learn’s online assessments perform exactly as designed. They not only automate the assessment process but also generate expert-level reading profiles at scale, facilitating data-driven instruction that is highly effective.

Over the past two decades, Let’s Go Learn has undergone significant growth and transformation. The company has continually expanded its portfolio, which now includes diagnostic math assessments, adaptive math and reading instruction, and leadership training services for its users. All of these offerings have undergone rigorous validation to ensure their reliability and are meticulously aligned with both Common Core and state standards, guaranteeing the highest educational quality standards.
Let’s Go Learn’s 23-year milestone is a testament to its dedication to the advancement of education. The company’s revolutionary products have had a profound impact on students, teachers, and educational institutions across the nation, making learning more accessible, personalized, and effective. As LGL continues to pave the way for educational excellence, the future promises even more groundbreaking solutions that will redefine the way we learn and teach.
