As a 20-year retired teacher, I can’t recommend Let’s Go Learn enough! I first discovered it at the NCTM/NCSM conference in Washington D.C. during the spring of 2021, and it completely transformed the way we approached math instruction at my continuation high school.
During the pandemic, our student population tripled, and the district faced a major crisis—students were failing math at alarming rates, leading to drops in graduation rates. Let’s Go Learn’s diagnostics were a game changer! The detailed insights helped us create truly individualized IEPs and pinpoint foundational skill gaps.
I first applied it with my special education students, and the results were incredible. It’s true—math builds on itself, and skipping foundational skills to “accelerate” students just doesn’t work. This tool empowered us to rebuild those skills and get students back on track to graduate.
