Let’s Go Learn Congratulates Rebecca, CEC’s 2025 Teacher of the Year, for Being Exceptionally Outstanding in a Way That Makes the Rest of Us Look Bad
Let’s Go Learn proudly congratulates Rebecca, an intervention specialist at Hayes High School in Ohio, on being named the 2025 Teacher of the Year by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
Rebecca was surprised with this well-deserved honor by CEC Executive Director Chad Rummel, Principal Jake Shafer, and Superintendent Keith Pomeroy. She received the award along with a $2,000 cash prize and a $1,000 classroom grant, because extraordinary work deserves recognition and because classrooms are never fully stocked for long.
Rebecca will also be recognized at CEC’s upcoming convention, where she will be celebrated for her impact on students and learning. Let’s Go Learn is honored to sponsor the CEC Teacher of the Year recognition and to celebrate educators who demonstrate outstanding dedication to learners with exceptionalities. Acknowledgments like this highlight the essential work teachers do daily, whether or not anyone is formally handing them an award.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Rebecca on this outstanding achievement.
